Mr. Klein reached out to us to evaluate the condition of his chimney’s exterior, knowing the bricks were deteriorating, spalling, and that the chimney needed to be repaired or possibly rebuilt. Our chimney technician inspected both the exterior structure and the interior fireplace to assess the overall condition and recommended a complete chimney rebuild from the ground up.
During the inspection, we also discovered that the existing wood-burning fireplace required significant repairs. Mrs. Klein decided it would be best to convert it to a modern electric fireplace for convenience and efficiency.
Our team rebuilt the chimney from the foundation, poured a new concrete crown, and installed new flashing to ensure proper water protection. After completing the masonry work, our installation team installed a beautiful Regency electric fireplace.
Now, the Kleins no longer have to worry about chimney leaks, spalling bricks, or loose masonry — and can enjoy their new electric fireplace with just the press of a button!
